Victoria Law "Women's Resistance and Organising in Prison"
The author of Resistance Behind Bars: The Struggles of Incarcerated Women, will discuss the parallels between the history of prisons as gender control in both the U.S. and Canada, collective organizing and individual resistance among women incarcerated, and what social justice activists can do to offer support.

Anarchist Music Night 9pm - 11:30pm
An evening of music fused with revolutionary politics. Featured artists include:

  • Corrodead (crusted metal punk bastards)
  • Geister (old school gothic punk
  • Testament (political hip-hop hailing from Ontario)
  • The Outspoken Wordsmiths (beatbox harmonies)
  • Zebra Pulse (noisy super awesome noise)

Anarchist Bookfair 80’s Dance Party! 7pm - 11pm
Come celebrate anarchism and the 80's. Dress up and dance! This will be all ages, with alcohol sales.
The A and W Sound System with DJ Ambuhguhs and DJ Wootbeeah and Dance Dance Queer Revolution DJ Karen Campos will keep the beats going, and admission is by donation!
